Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy to patients in home care settings, helping them regain maximal physical function and independence. You will follow plans of care under supervision and work with the care team to deliver evidence-based treatment.

This role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates, a comprehensive benefits package, and a pay structure that includes hourly and per-visit compensation.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervising OT guidelines in home care.
• Follow the plan of care and assist patients with evidence-based therapy.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Instruct patient, family, and care team in therapy techniques within scope of OTA.
• Provide care regardless of age, race, creed, or disability.
