Job summary

Flagship Therapy in Los Alamitos, CA seeks a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join an in-house therapy team. Work under supervision of an OT to deliver rehabilitative treatment for patients with physical functioning disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with the supervising OT.

Competitive hourly rates: 34–39 for new grads and 36–41 for 3+ years’ experience, with a supportive, team-oriented environment and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.
• New grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
