Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Southington Care Center is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Rehab team. Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will help implement treatment plans to restore and maximize independence in daily living, leisure, and productivity.

This role focuses on addressing cognitive, psychosocial, and sensorimotor needs in a short‑term rehabilitation setting, with opportunities for growth across Hartford HealthCare's extensive network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (OTA/COTA).
• CT OTA/COTA licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Occupational Therapist, performs standardized assessments and assists in determining, revising and implementing treatment plans to maximize function in activities of daily living, leisure and work.
• Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components.
• Reports to Manager.

Overview

Join our experienced Rehab team to provide customized rehabilitation programs to meet the individual needs of a diverse population who no longer require hospitalization, however are in need of short-term rehabilitation in a multi-disciplinary therapeutic environment.
