Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for a PRN, flexible schedule to support our inpatient population. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized treatment plans and patient care tailored to each diagnosis.

Ideal candidates have OTA licensure in Texas, current BLS certification, and about one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system. The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
