Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Sarasota is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our inpatient team on a flexible schedule. Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct patient care and help plan and implement individualized treatment programs for our patients across the PAM Health system.

A state license as OTA and current BLS are required; one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system. The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
