PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our inpatient team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of an OT and help plan and implement individualized treatment programs.

A commitment to learning and adapting to our diverse patient population is essential. Licensed OTA in the state and current BLS certification are required; one year of clinical experience is preferred.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system. The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
