Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility clinical team. You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapies to help patients regain strength and independence.

You’ll work closely with a supportive team in a patient-centered environment that values growth, mentorship, and continuing education. Powerback supports clinical development and a path toward broader roles in rehabilitation and wellness.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
  • Initial certification from NBCOT.
  • Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
  • Follow developed recovery plans.
  • Deliver therapy treatments and help patients regain independence.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.
