Genesis HealthCare Powerback Rehabilitation in West Virginia is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments in-facility. Reporting to the Director of Rehab, you will focus on restoring independence and whole-patient wellness while collaborating with the care team.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient-centered care, continuous learning through CEUs, and growth within a stable environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification from NBCOT.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the practice state.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and follow developed plans.
• Collaborate with peers and refer as needed to support patient care.
• Maintain patient-centered care and adapt to individual needs.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.

2. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Posted Salary Range

USD $35.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
