As the Occupational Therapist Assistant – Per Diem, you will be providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow all state‑specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care, and implement the treatment plan as defined by the supervising OT.
• Follow the plan of care, instruct and aid patients in evidence‑based treatment within the scope of an occupational therapy assistant and according to state laws governing occupational therapy assistants.
• Observe, record, and report to the nursing supervisor and physician the patient’s response to treatment and any changes to the patient’s condition.
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other health‑care team members in therapy areas within the scope of an occupational therapy assistant.
• Operate effectively in any home setting regardless of the client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

State Specific Requirement

• Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy: FL.

Preferred Qualification

• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Pay Range

Annual Total Cash Target Pay: $50,852 – $76,277.
Hourly Pay Range: $24.45 – $36.67.
Per Visit Point Pay Range: $29.34 – $44.01.

Annual total cash compensation assumes full‑time employment (40 hours per week) at full productivity and generally follows the range above. Compensation includes earnings from per‑visit point pay and hourly pay, and may increase over time based on productivity and performance. When conducting visits, you will be paid a per‑visit point rate; for non‑visit activities such as orientation, you will be paid at your hourly rate. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
