Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation, LLC in High Point, NC is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patients in an in-facility setting under the Director of Rehab.

You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, deliver therapy, and collaborate with the care team to restore independence and improve quality of life for clients across various settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities and follow recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Address the whole patient and collaborate with the care team to restore independence.
• Support a compassionate atmosphere and put patients first in care delivery.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Initial certification (NBCOT)

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.
