Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to support patient care under the supervision of supervising therapists. You will help implement modalities and therapeutic activities defined in treatment plans, while adhering to hospital policies and maintaining high-quality care standards.
The role requires active licensure, current BLS certification, and strong communication in English to collaborate with patients, families, and care teams
CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT
The staff Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) functions under the general supervision of the physical medicine lead and under the direct supervision of the therapist responsible for a specific patient’s care. The staff COTA assumes responsibility and accountability for providing modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an occupational therapist and in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies while maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.
