Job summary

Aegis Therapies is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Presbyterian Village Austell in Austell, GA. Join a diverse CCRC with Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and memory care across multiple care levels.

Provide direct OT treatments under supervision, document outcomes, and contribute to resident wellness programs that promote independence and quality of life. Excellent teamwork and compassionate care are required.

Qualifications

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize residents' independence, safety, and quality of life
  • Accurately document treatment sessions, resident progress, and outcomes
  • Communicate resident status and treatment recommendations with the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist with screenings, treatment interventions, and discharge planning activities

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, wellness personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Participate in care plan meetings and resident-centered care discussions
  • Contribute ideas that enhance therapy services, wellness programming, and resident outcomes
  • Support special projects and departmental initiatives that promote growth and innovation
  • Passion for serving older adults and promoting person-centered care

Occupational Therapy Assistant / OTA - CCRC: Full-time

Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) - a diverse setting with a wide range of treatment opportunities throughout the continuum of care.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, one rotating weekend day per month
Pay: state range $24 to $38 per hour
Location: Presbyterian Village Austell - Austell, GA

Qualifications:

  • Current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
