UNC Health in Hillsborough, NC invites applications for an Acute Care Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will provide skilled OT treatments, advance patient progress, and assist with discharge planning on a Sunday–Thursday schedule with occasional holidays.
Prerequisites include graduation from an accredited two-year OTA program, NC licensure, and acute care experience with orthopedic patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Performs a wide variety of skilled occupational therapy treatments for patients based upon the occupational therapy evaluations and goals completed by the occupational therapist. Advances the patient's treatment plan in response to the patient's progress. Assists with discharge planning.
The Acute Care Therapy Team at UNC Hospital Hillsborough is accepting applications for an acute care OTA position. This position will offer therapy services within a variety of acute care patient population at our Hillsborough Hospital. The OTA will work closely with a team of experienced therapists focused on post surgical orthopedic, general surgery, cardiac, cardio pulmonary, geriatric and medicine patients. This therapist must have excellent time management, communication and organizational skills and remain flexible in a fast paced environment. Clinical experience in acute care with orthopedic patients is required.
The selected candidate will work Sunday to Thursday with occasional holiday coverage.
