Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to administer occupational therapy to patients on an intermittent basis under physician orders and the plan of care, supervised by the Occupational Therapist and Clinical Manager.

The COTA will provide patient care under the OT's direction, complete documentation, participate in team activities, and contribute to the professional development of the staff while

Qualifications

• A graduate and meets the requirements for certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Certification maintained by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.
• Currently certified in the state(s) in which practicing.
• Licensed or regulated as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the state, if applicable.
• Two (2) years’ experience, preferred.
