Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to administer occupational therapy to patients intermittently, under supervision and physician orders. The role follows the plan of care with direction from the OT and Clinical Manager.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under an OT, documentation, and participation in professional development and interdisciplinary team activities to maintain high rehab standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate and meets the certification requirements by AOTA-accredited OTA program.
• NBCOT certification maintained by NBCOT, Inc.
• Currently certified in practicing state(s).
• Licensed or regulated as an OTA where practicing, if applicable.
• Two years’ experience preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:

This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist and Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Manager
