Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide individualized occupational therapy to adult and geriatric patients. You will help patients gain independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life in a collaborative clinical setting.

You will work under an OT, focusing on ADLs and functional outcomes, while building strong relationships with patients and the care team.

Qualifications

• COTA credential or license-eligibility in the practicing state.
• Experience or interest in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.
• Able to work within a collaborative clinical environment and deliver consistent outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an OT to improve functional independence and safety.
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focusing on ADLs, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
• Assist patients with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming and meal preparation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support outcomes and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety and overall quality of life
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques
• Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or license eligible in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
