Scylla Solutions LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation in home settings for older adults, enhancing independence in daily activities.
The TA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, delivering individualized treatment plans across varied environments, including private residences and independent living facilities, with a flexible schedule.
The OccupationalTherapy Assistant will primarily provide outpatientrehabilitationservices in an in-home settingfor the older adult population. The in-home settingcould be a patient's private residence or in a patient's room in an independent living facility. Allows the OccupationalTherapy Assistant to treat in the most functional environment which is the patient's home. The OccupationalTherapy Assistant implements occupationaltherapy programs and provides occupationaltherapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning, under the supervision of an OccupationalTherapist. This position, a flexible schedule and work environment in various setting.
Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representativeof occupationaltherapy, under the directionof the OccupationalTherapist.
Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentationrequirements as well as work related meetings.
Works with other members of the rehabilitationteam to develop programs and activitiesconsistentwith the needs and capabilitiesof each patient.
Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the occupationaltherapy treatment program under the supervision of the OccupationalTherapist.
Maintains appropriate and timely documentationfor all patients treated.
Cleans, maintains, idenfies, and reports the need for repair of equipment, as necessary.
Puts Patient Service First: Ensures that patients and families receive the highest quality of serviceina caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights.
Implements a patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary OccupationalTherapist.
Provides individualized occupationaltherapy interventionsincluding applicationof therapeutictechniques in such areas as, but not not limited to:
Performs other related dues as required.
1. Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
2. Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportationto and from thepatients' residence.
