Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is growing in Westminster, MD and seeks licensed Occupational Therapists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in private residences or senior living communities.

You’ll enable improved mobility, independence and quality of life through our Geriatric House Calls™ model, with flexible scheduling and telehealth options to extend access and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Valid OT license in state of practice
• Degree from an accredited OT program
• CPR certification current

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in homes or senior living communities
• Perform evaluations and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver therapy sessions to improve mobility, independence and safety
• Document effectively in FOX’s EMR per regulatory standards
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists
• Educate patients, caregivers and staff to promote aging in place
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Occupational therapy to older adults wherever they call home (Private residues, Senior Living Communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care)
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment
• Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists
• Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place
• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access and flexibility

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification

Physical Requirements

FOX clinicians must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including:

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
• Performing CPR
• Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility
• Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities
• Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model
• Wearing PPE when required

In Maryland, the standard base pay range for a Full-Time role is $70,000 - $105,000 annually with an opportunity to earn more. Part-Time and FOX Flex (PRN) will be pro-rated.
