Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is growing in Union, MO, and surrounding locations. We’re seeking passionate, licensed Occupational Therapists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities.

You’ll help improve mobility, independence, and quality of life through our Geriatric House Calls model. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful patient outcomes, with the freedom to set your own schedule and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to obtain in practice state.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in home or senior living settings.
• Perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver sessions to support wellness, mobility, and functional independence.
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in line with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

FOX clinicians must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including:

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50lbsoccasionally, 10–25lbsfrequently, and up to 10lbsconstantly

• Performing CPR

• Providing moderate to maximumassistancewith patient transfers and bed mobility

• Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities

• Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model

• Wearing PPE whenrequired
