Job summary
Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern California, located in Rancho Mirage, CA, is an Ernest Health, Inc. affiliated inpatient rehabilitation facility seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role.
The position focuses on advanced therapeutic services for patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic surgeries. You will join a team delivering comprehensive therapies in a supportive environment, with competitive compensation and benefits including
Qualifications
- Current, valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
- One year of experience in the care of patients in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OT assessment and treatment planning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement OT treatment plans to improve daily living activities.
- Assess patients, document progress, and communicate with the care team.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive equipment and home modifications.
