Good Samaritan is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Skilled Rehab and Home Health teams in Grand Island, NE. The role is full-time (35–40 hours/week), Monday–Friday, with flexibility across weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed to cover SNF and surrounding home health clients.

New grads are welcome. The position includes paid travel between home health patients and requires current OT licensure in applicable states, along with BLS certification. Benefits options apply.

Qualificações

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification may be required for Sanford Health facilities.
• BLS for health care providers required or within first 60 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments.
• Help clients/patients/residents develop, maintain and recover ability to perform daily tasks.
• Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for functional, cognitive or behavioral impairments.
• Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental and psychosocial abilities; develop realistic therapy goals.
• Document client information, establish therapeutic plans and modify as needed.
• Provide education to enhance understanding and functional outcomes.

Formação académica

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in applicable state(s)

NBCOT certification (preferred for Sanford Health facilities)

Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers
