Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for the SNF Albany location. The role offers a flexible schedule (FT/PT/PRN) with pay up to $130,000 annually and a sign-on bonus up to $12,000.

You will evaluate ADLs, create treatment plans, recommend adaptive equipment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve daily function.

A degree from an accredited OT program with a current state license is required; SNF/post-acute experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Experience in rehabilitation, SNF, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Develop treatment plans that enhance independence and functional performance.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Address cognitive, physical, and sensory limitations impacting daily function.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional strategies for success.
