Elite Medical Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment in Casper, Wyoming. The contract role offers a $60/hour pay rate with a stable schedule (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm) and onsite work.

The OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving daily living activities and quality of life. Strong documentation and collaboration with staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Active OT license and SNF experience (1 year minimum).
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities and consistent attendance.
• Authorized to work in the United States; able to pass background and drug screening.
• Casper, WY-based contract assignment; valid OT credential required.

Responsibilities

• Record patient data in EMR and track vital signs.
• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and barriers to independence.
• Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans for ADLs.
• Provide interventions to improve independence and quality of life.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate residents and families on therapeutic techniques and safety.
• Document evaluations and outcomes; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate concerns to supervisor and agency; perform other duties.

Responsibilities

An OT working a contract through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to:

• Utilize EMRto record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and identify barriers to independence and safety
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve performance of activities of daily living and other functional tasks
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance residents' functional independence and quality of life
• Assess and recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety strategies
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and resident outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active OT license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered WYOT License or Compact OT License
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
• CPR/BLS

• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
