Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist in the Physical Therapy department in Aspen, CO. You will evaluate patients, plan therapy, and administer treatment to restore function after injury or disability, helping clients reach their maximum potential while working within their abilities.

The role requires a Colorado OT license (or ability to obtain), BLS, and a willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Unrestricted license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer therapy treatment.
• Administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
