Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient team. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time OTs, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

You will provide direct patient care, develop personalized treatment plans, supervise treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patients' independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring occupational therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to understand physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
