FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our in-home and senior living care teams in Flushing, NY. Clinicians deliver one-on-one geriatric therapy in private residences and senior living communities, with autonomy to manage schedules and emphasize meaningful patient outcomes.

The role supports telehealth options and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to improve mobility and aging in place.

Qualificações

• Must hold a valid Occupational Therapy license or be eligible to obtain one in state(s) of practice.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program is required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in homes or senior living settings.
• Perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions to improve mobility, independence, and function.
• Document care in the EMR in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Offer telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access.

Responsibilities

In New York, the standard base pay range for a Full-Time role is $70,000 - $105,000 annually with an opportunity to earn more. Part-Time and FOX Flex (PRN) will be pro-rated.

Qualifications

• Valid OccupationalTherapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accreditedOccupationalTherapy program
• Basic computer and EMRproficiency
• Current CPR certification

Physical Requirements

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50lbsoccasionally, 10–25lbsfrequently, and up to 10lbsconstantly
• Performing CPR
• Providing moderate to maximum assistancewith patient transfers and bed mobility
• Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities
• Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls model
• Wearing PPE when required
