Job summary

Hayward Hills Healthcare Center is looking for an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues. A valid California OT license is required, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred and new graduates welcomed.

The role offers a salary range of $104,000 to $124,800 per year plus opportunities such as a sign-on bonus and PTO. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential to delivering quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy Issued by California.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
