Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year. You will work three days per week across multiple sites in the Pittston, Wyoming Valley West, and Hanover area, serving IU classes, Autistic Support, and Multiple Disabilities Support.

Ideal candidates have school-based OT experience and a passion for student growth. You will assess sensory-motor and functional abilities, develop IEPs, collaborate with special educators, and maintain required records

Qualifications

• Active OT license in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain).
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Background with Autistic Support and Multiple Disabilities Support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, families.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students sensory-motor and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and classroom teachers.
• Provide direct therapy interventions to address students educational needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student progress.
