Job description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing crucial occupational therapy services across two supportive charter school campuses in the Keene and Surry area. This part-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with the school director to build a flexible schedule that fits your needs. You'll be serving both the upper and lower campuses, supporting students in grades 1, 2, and 5 with a full range of direct and consultative occupational therapy services for the remainder of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapy certificate (required)
• Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Skilled in both direct and consultative approaches to OT services in a school setting
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to travel between campuses located about 15 minutes apart
• Organized, independent, and adaptable to evolving schedules and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy sessions in accordance with student service requirements for both campuses (approximately 110 service hours across remainder of school year)
• Consult regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success and meet IEP goals
• Accurately document all services, progress, and consultation minutes in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and multidisciplinary team collaboration as necessary
• Adapt OT interventions and recommendations to diverse student populations across grades 1, 2, and 5
• Work with school directors to create a mutually convenient and effective weekly schedule
