Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist to support students across multiple school sites in North Carolina. This full-time maternity-leave cover starts ASAP and runs tentatively through January 31, 2027, with travel between W.R.

Odell and Mary Frances Wall Center. You will conduct screenings, assessments, and direct OT interventions aligned to IEPs, collaborating with teachers and families to promote student participation in the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina OT license required.

• Familiarity with ECATS or similar case management systems.

Make an immediate impact supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist within a vibrant school community. This full-time opportunity runs through a maternity leave period, beginning ASAP and extending tentatively through January 31, 2027. You'll deliver crucial OT services across multiple school sites, engaging daily with students and staff to foster student development and participation within educational settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Possession of an active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (snapshot required with application)
• Demonstrated experience providing school-based OT services, including development and implementation of IEPs
• Familiarity with ECATS or similar educational case management systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of working collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Experience supporting students in diverse academic environments, preferably in itinerant roles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and deliver direct OT interventions to students, as outlined in IEPs or therapeutic service plans
• Travel between assigned schools (including, but not limited to, W.R. Odell and Mary Frances Wall Center) to provide services
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to ensure meaningful access and progress within the school curriculum
• Complete timely documentation, progress monitoring, and required reporting using ECATS
• Support inclusivity and adaptive strategies to optimize academic participation for students with varying needs
