Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Texarkana is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care within a supportive rehab team. You will assess patients, develop personalized care plans, supervise treatments, and track progress toward functional goals, celebrating small victories along the way.

Qualifications include current state licensure or certification, CPR certification, and a preferred Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred
