Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks an Occupational Therapist in Red Bluff, CA to deliver treatments and develop personalized plans for patients recovering from illness or injury. Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms; review medical history and referrals.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing their movement.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coach patients and teach therapeutic massage to ease pain and promote healing.
• Maintain patient records and track treatment goals.
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide interventions.
• Assess progress and update the clinical record per regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate outcomes and modify services based on patient evaluation and referrals.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Communicate progress, barriers and plans with supervisors and health team.
• Provide discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Document all required information in the electronic system; maintain patient records.
• Participate in trainings, in-services and conferences.
• Supervise and support PTAs, aides and students.
• Adhere to company policies and code of conduct.
• Maintain active State Licensure.
