Pate Rehabilitation in Anna, Texas is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position. You will assess patients, develop goal-directed treatment plans, supervise OT staff, and educate patients and families to restore independence and function. Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement goal-directed treatment plans for assigned patients utilizing in-depth evaluation and physician orders
• Establish realistic, objective functional goals based on patient/caregiver goals and overall discharge plan
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, OT students, and OTA students on a routine basis
• Educate patients/caregivers on occupational therapy services, treatment procedures, and treatment goals
• Prepare for client discharge in a timely, thorough manner, including patient/caregiver education, home visit, recommendations for home modifications and equipment needs, and procurement of recommended equipment
• Maintain a working knowledge of and adherence to Occupational Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics
• Perform other duties as assigned
