Job summary

Marsh Med Ctr Park Falls is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess residents and patients and implement treatments that help them develop, maintain, and recover daily living skills. The role may involve supervising assistants, aides, and students while coordinating with providers and family members.

The position is full-time at Marsh Med Ctr Park Falls, Park Falls, WI with a 40-hour work week. Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state is required, with NBCOT certification

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification preferred when working at Sanford Health facilities.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluations and provides interventions for residents and patients.
• Evaluates abilities and develops realistic therapy goals.
• Documents information for evaluation and establishes therapeutic plans.
• Provides education to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes.
• Incorporates current research into daily treatment.
• Provides ongoing education to peers in the area of expertise.
