Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and address a patient’s ADL/IADL deficits across physical, cognitive, and psychological domains. You will develop an individualized treatment plan with patient-centered goals and may adapt environments to enable engagement.

The role involves completing evaluations, creating care plans, reassessing progress, initiating discharge planning, and supervising staff and students in accordance with state law. Schedule: Full-time.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of occupational therapy.
• Current State Board of Occupational Therapy licensure.
• One (1) year of occupational therapy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations by establishing an occupational profile and collaborative goals.
• Establish an individualized plan of care and select therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct ongoing reassessment of patient progress.
• Initiate and manage the discharge plan from the first visit and throughout treatment.
• Supervise ancillary staff and students in accordance with state laws.
