Zusammenfassung

UF Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Jacksonville, FL to examine and evaluate patients, develop effective treatment plans, and educate patients for optimal outcomes. The role involves coordinating with a care team, documenting services, and supervising OT staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida OT license, a Bachelor's in OT, and a strong foundation in using evidence-based practices. Hospital-based rehab experience is preferred, with opportunities for student teaching and program

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required (preferred coursework).
Current Florida Occupational Therapy license.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Aufgaben

Perform OT examinations and evaluations to guide prognosis and care plans.
Develop and modify treatment plans and educate patients to improve outcomes.
Document and code services in accordance with guidelines and insurance requirements.
Supervise OT Assistants and Rehab Techs as appropriate for patient care.
Meet productivity expectations and contribute to departmental goals.
Serve as Clinical Instructor for OT students and collaborate with Clinical Education Coordinator.
