Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Licensed and registered to practice in the state.
• Experience supervising OT Assistants.
• Experience with long-term/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and record-keeping.
• Competent in evaluations, progress notes, and discharge documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines for patient-centered care.
• Demonstrates exceptional patient service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients to determine rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and administer treatment plans under physician direction.
• Set realistic goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
• Document patient status and educate patients and families.
• Supervise and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and Residents' Rights.
