Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and Florida license required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Current FIM within 90 days of hire.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Treat disabilities, injuries and disease using therapeutic techniques per physician prescriptions.
• Record and monitor patient observation, treatment and changes in condition; modify plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement in recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for seamless transitions of care.
• Lead by example and supervise therapy assistants or students.
