Qualifications

Position: Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Newtown, CT

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Salary: Hourly rate of $60/hr

Our outpatient orthopedic team is seeking an occupational therapist to join us in providing quality patient care.

We are passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience and helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love.

This position will be performing FCE’s out of outpatient therapy offices in the central, southern & western ½ of CT.

A functional capacity evaluation (FCE) is a comprehensive assessment of an individual's physical abilities, often used to determine their capacity to return to work after an injury or illness. It evaluates various physical tasks relevant to the job, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying, and assesses the individual's strength, range of motion, and endurance. Select Physical Therapy will train the right candidate in the administration of FCE evaluations.
