Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Savannah is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support our inpatient post-ICU program in Savannah, GA. This PRN/Per Diem role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to patient recovery with individualized therapy plans.

You will participate in discharge planning, supervise OT assistants and students, deliver therapeutic regimens, and monitor progress. Required: current state OT licensure and BLS (or completion within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• BLS certification required or completed within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients' responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
