Job summary

American Advanced Management is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in a rehabilitation setting. You will assess patients, plan care, and deliver treatments while consulting with the rehab team and educating care staff.

The role includes clinical program development and supervising licensed therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Strong English communication and licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the applicable State Licensing Board.
• Long term acute care experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Perform patient assessment and care planning.
• Deliver direct treatment and provide consultation to a general rehab caseload.
• Participate in the interdisciplinary team process and education of care giver staff.
