HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Florida seeks an Occupational Therapist PRN to join our dedicated rehab team. You will evaluate patients, design individualized therapy plans, and provide hands‑on treatment to restore independence and quality of life.

Work closely with physicians and care teams to support recovery at every stage. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence‑based care, documentation accuracy, and collaboration across specialties in a hospital setting.

Formación

• State licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Bachelor's Degree (minimum).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluating each patient’s functional abilities and needs, then developing individualized therapy plans with physicians and the care team.
• Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing, independence, and quality of life.
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting plans as needed, and ensuring thorough, timely documentation.
• Educating patients and families to build understanding and engagement throughout recovery.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care and exceptional patient experiences.

Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury. Working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you will evaluate needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands‑on treatment that supports recovery through every stage of healing. Your role will include:

What qualifications you will need:

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital. For 40 years, we have served Bay County and the surrounding communities. We are an accredited facility offering comprehensive care.
