AdvantageCare Rehab in McKeesport, PA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to empower patients to achieve independence through personalized, evidence-based care. You will assess barriers, develop individualized plans, and work with a collaborative team to restore function and safety.

New grads are welcome; mentorship and ongoing support are offered, with a focus on clinical autonomy and growth within a therapist-led culture.

Qualifications

• Active state license (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organization.
• Mentorship and ongoing support for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental barriers to function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, upper extremity strength/mobility, cognition, and adaptive skills.
• Provide hands-on therapy interventions to restore independence and safety.
• Recommend and train on assistive devices, adaptive techniques, and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support whole-person care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques for long-term success at home and in the community.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge plans accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you’ll empower patients to achieve independence in daily life by improving their ability to perform essential tasks through personalized, evidence-based interventions. You’ll use creativity, compassion, and clinical expertise to restore function and quality of life.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity strength/mobility, cognition, and adaptive skills
• Provide hands-on therapy interventions to restore independence and promote safety
• Recommend and train on assistive devices, adaptive techniques, and environmental modifications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support whole-person care
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques for long-term success at home and in the community
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge plans accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications
