Job summary

Paradigm Home Health Companies is seeking an Occupational Therapist PRN in Keller, Texas. The candidate will provide direct patient care to homebound patients, develop and revise care plans, provide therapeutic treatments, and evaluate care outcomes. Current Texas OT License, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license are required. Knowledge of WellSky EMR software is a plus. Competitive compensation includes pay per visit and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Texas Occupational Therapist License.
• Certified in BLS/CPR is required.
• Driver's license and automobile insurance are necessary.
• Knowledge of WellSky EMR software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises patient care plans in consultation with medical professionals.
• Provides therapy treatments and evaluates equipment needs.
• Conducts supervisory visits for certified occupational therapy assistants.
• Conducts onsite supervisory visits of certified occupational therapy assistants.
• Advices and consults with the family and other agency personnel as applicable.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes.
• Protects and honors patient and coworker confidentiality and right to privacy.
• Evaluates outcomes of care.
• Plans for discharge.

• Provides therapeutic treatments and evaluation of equipment needs as applicable.
• Participates in clinical conferences and inservice programs.
• Conducts onsite supervisory visits of certified occupational therapy assistants.
• Advices and consults with the family and other agency personnel as applicable.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes.
• Protects and honors patient and coworker confidentiality and right to privacy.
• Evaluates outcomes of care.
• Plans for discharge.
