Temple-Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to join Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. The role covers inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on holistic evaluation and treatment to maximize patient function. • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• PA Occupational Therapist license is required or eligible for licensure in PA; NBCOT certification is required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsabilidades

The Occupational Therapist plans, evaluates and treats patients related to their occupational therapy needs, utilizing a holistic approach to achieve the patient's maximum functional capabilities, within a clinical (inpatient and outpatient) setting. Participates in established occupational therapy programs including patient care and education. Evaluates and treats patients and establishes treatment programs and/or implements comprehensive discharge plans. Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited Occupational Therapy program Required
• Master's Degree from accredited Occupational Therapy program Preferred or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 2 years' experience in an Occupational Therapy Setting Preferred

Licenses

• PA Occupational Therapist Lic Required
• Natl Board Certified OT Required
• Basic Life Support Required
