Job summary

Adventist Health Tillamook is seeking a licensed occupational therapist to join a 25-bed critical access medical center on the Oregon Coast. You will deliver patient-centered therapy, conduct assessments, and develop discharge plans in collaboration with a small, compassionate team.

Required qualifications include a Master’s or Doctorate in OT, state licensure, and CPR/BLS certification; at least two years of OT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in OT required; only if license obtained on or after Jan 2007.
• Two years’ OT experience; OT licensure in state of practice; CPR/BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy.
• Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques; establishes care and discharge plans and communicates them to appropriate parties.

Education and Work Experience

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007;
• Two years' occupational therapy experience: Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Facility Specific License/Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
