Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to support the Union Hospital campus, providing skilled OT services across acute care settings and a variety of patient populations.

You will join a collaborative team with mentoring, state-of-the-art equipment, and opportunities for professional development. Requirements include a degree in OT, Maryland licensure or eligibility, CPR certification, and preferred AOTA membership.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• At least two years of clinical experience preferred
• Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Maryland as an Occupational Therapist
• CPR Certification
• AOTA preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide OT services in acute care at Union Hospital
• Serve a diverse patient population including neuro, cardiac, orthopedic and general debility
• Collaborate with a supportive OT team and multidisciplinary staff
• Participate in mentoring, ongoing education, and utilize state-of-the-art equipment

Patient care includes but is not limited to the coordination of acute care services at the Union Hospital campus. This is a flat rate position, any individual hired into this position will be paid $59.00/hour plus any applicable diferentials. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
