Occupational Therapist / Part-time - Mountain View, CA (#25323)

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to fill an opening with an Adult Day Care Center located in Mountain View, California.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Must have a current California state license as a Registered Occupational Therapist/OT.
• Must have valid California Driver’s license, clean driving record, appropriate insurance and reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to cater to tasks with physical demands (lift, transfer, push/pull, maneuver, reposition, etc.).

Benefits

• The salary for this position is $60 / hr.

Schedule

• This is a Part-time position (20 hours per week).
• On-site during our hours of operation.
• Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and Person-Centered Care Planning for incoming and active participants.
• Member of the Multidisciplinary Team and assist with carrying out the Team’s plan of care.
• Provide Activities of Daily Living care to participants, as needed, and training of staff (grooming, dressing, hygiene, body mechanics).
• Conduct in-home evaluations, as appropriate, for home safety considerations and recommendations.
• Demonstrates safe practices by utilizing proper body mechanics, adhering to universal precautions, and maintaining environmental safety.
• Contribute to the welcoming environment, assisting participants as needed.
• Supervise participants throughout the Center to ensure their safety, proper care, and comfort.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and in-services.
• Ability to safely move upwards of 35 pounds.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
