Job summary

AnthroMed Education, LLC is seeking a Part-time Occupational Therapist to support a self-contained therapeutic day school program in Morton Grove, IL. The role involves delivering OT services one day per week for a caseload of approximately 8 students in grades 3–5, focusing on functional participation and independence.

The ideal candidate will have an Illinois OT license, experience with low-incidence disabilities, and familiarity with AAC.

Qualifications

• Illinois IDFPR Occupational Therapy license is required.
• Experience with students with low-incidence or significant disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with AAC and non-verbal students is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in a therapeutic or special education setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades 3–5.
• Support students with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs.
• Address skills related to fine motor development, sensory regulation, and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other service providers.
• Support AAC usage and integrate communication into activities when appropriate.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT goals and progress.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and multidisciplinary teams.
