Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln Outpatient Physical Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient care for orthopedic and neurological conditions on a PRN, weekdays as needed, part-time basis.

Evaluates and treats patients, develops individualized therapy plans, and collaborates with physicians and staff to optimize recovery and independence. Requires OT degree, state license, and BLS. Commitment to high-quality patient education and home program guidance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in OT from an accredited OT program required
• Applicable state license for OT required
• BLS required per policy guidelines

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises activities of OT staff, assistants, students and volunteers involved in patient care.
• Evaluates patients and develops patient care plans including modalities, exercises, and patient education.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, discharge notes and charges.
• Re-evaluates patients as status changes and updates goals accordingly.
• Communicates progress to physicians and care teams and coordinates schedules and discharge planning.
